The City of Weatherford was proud to be re-certified in 2009 as a Texas Main Street City.

Part of the Texas Historical Commission's Community Heritage Development Division, the Texas Main Street Program    assists downtowns in revitalization through Historic Preservation and Economic Development strategies.

The Main Street Board and staff are excited about Downtown Weatherford's future!  The goal is to once again make downtown the heart of the community, where activity thrives and businesses prosper.
